If you’re searching for a town full of Swedish traditions, festivals, and fun then Lindsborg, Kansas is waiting to welcome you with open arms. During our recent travels throughout the Midwest, we were able to spend 2 fun nights in the town that they also call Little Sweden, USA. The state of Kansas may be known for the speed limit on the highway being 75 mph and the flat terrain, but for those of you who just drive by the exit without stopping that leads into the town of Lindsborg, Kansas, you are truly missing out.

Too many travelers find Kansas to be just another “fly-over” state. To us, that term also refers to those that just cruise along I-70 on their way to some other place. What many of them do not realize is that by getting off of the interstate, they have an opportunity to enjoy a truly cultural experience. A great example of this is the city of Lindsborg , which sits less than 3 hours from Kansas City. Nicknamed “Little Sweden USA”, this immigrant established city just begs to be explored.
